The Tanauan Municipal Health Office is a Sentrong Sigla accreditted health facility since last December 2003. It is in charge of the basic health services of the municipality of Tanauan, Leyte. These basic services are preventive and to a certain extent rehabilitative and are incorporate in the different health programs of the Department of Health.

The TANAUAN POLICE STATION is composed of 42 uniformed personnel, 3 Police Commissioned Officer, 9 Office Personnel handling Key positions, 1 Prosecutor, 2 assigned at Bantay Dagat Operatives, the rest were deployed to its designated position and 3 PNCO who are inactive du e to temporary detailed with other unit.
